- Every effort is made to ensure that all advertised amenities are available but no liability can be accepted for any omissions.
- Accommodation is available from 3 o’clock p.m. on the first day of booking. The property must be vacated by 10 o’clock a.m. on the day of departure and the equipment, furniture and premises handed over in as good a condition as they were taken over. Any damage, loss or destruction shall be made good by the applicants who also undertake to preserve the cleanliness of the furniture, fixtures and fittings of the premises until handed over at the end of the booking.
- If for any reason the booked accommodation is not available, liability shall be limited to a full refund of the monies paid to the proprietor.
- The Proprietor shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss of or any damage to valuables, personal property of any kind, motor vehicles, motor cycles, boats etc., or personal injury or death, direct or indirect, irrespective of how it was sustained, occasioned or caused to anyone of any age (including persons under 18 years) who is a resident of or invitee of Appledore Letting Agency, whether caused by or resulting from any default, willful act, negligence, omission, neglect or otherwise on the part of Appledore Letting Agency, their servants or agents or any resident, guest or invitees.
- Appledore Letting Agency, hereinafter called ‘the Agency’ act only as Agents for the Owners of the accommodation and the Contract of Letting is between the Guest and the Owner.
- A Deposit of one third of the total rent is required with the booking, and no firm bookings can be made without this. Further no bookings should be regarded as firm unless a receipt, which is sent out in all cases, has been received. Subject to the acceptance of their booking, the applicant becomes liable for the balance of rent for the full period of the letting.
- The Booking Fee and Cancellation Protection are not refundable. Cancellation: a £100.00 + VAT administration fee will be deducted from any payments.
- The balance of the rent is payable 60 days before the date of arrival. Non payment of the balance of the rent payable in advance, shall be deemed to be cancellation of the arrangements by the applicant.
- The number of people occupying a property may not exceed the number stated in the Brochure, unless consent is given at the time of booking.
- Complaints Procedure. All complaints to be made during the period of holiday occupation and confirmed in writing within 7 days of vacation of the accommodation. Complaints will not be valid unless this procedure is strictly adhered to.
- If for any reason beyond the owner’s control (e.g. fire damage) the property is not available on the date booked, all rents paid in advance by the clients will be repaid in full, but the clients shall have no further claim against the owners or the company
- Pets: No Cats. Dogs by arrangement at the time of booking. The Quoted rental will be increased by £20.00 + VAT per week.
- Hire of additional Z.Bed pillow and blankets is £35.00 per week + VAT
- Hire of Linen: £8 per bed, per week; Towels £4 per 2, per week + VAT
- Duvets are provided but not covers
- Return of items left behind: a minimum fee of £5 will be charged.
- Credit card bookings will be surcharged at 2.5%.
- Hire of a baby’s cot is £10.00 per week + VAT. (Please note linen/bedding is not included)
